"DOES DADDY GO?"

Daddy had a little boy, His soul was white as snow
He never went to Sunday school, Because daddy wouldn't go.
He never heard the word of God, That thrills the childish mind
While other children went to class, This child was left behind.

As he grew from babe to youth, Dad saw to his dismay,
A soul that once was snowy white, Become a dingy gray.
Realizing that his son was lost, Dad tried to win him back;
But now the soul that once was white , Had turned an ugly black.

Dad even started back to church And Bible study too;
He begged the preacher, "Isn't there Anything that you can do?"
The preacher tried, failed and said, "We're just too far behind;
I tried to tell you years ago, But you would pay me no mind."
And so another soul was lost, That once was white as snow;
Sunday school would have helped but Daddy wouldn't go......

"THE GUIDING HAND''

I know that I am not alone as I travel through this land,
I am lead by the Savior, for I feel his mighty hand.

He helps me in my sorrow, He knows my every woe.
I know that he is with me where ever I may go.

I need not have a worry, I do not need to fear.
The hand of Jesus leads me, and he is always near.

So why be so unhappy as I go from day to day,
for the Holy Spirit goes with me all of the way.

He who has the most trouble usually has been busy making it.

DIRECTIONS TO HIS HOUSE

Make a right onto Believeth Blvd. Keep straight and go through the green light which is Jesus Christ. From there you must turn onto the bridge of " Faith" which is over troubled water. When you get off the bridge, make a right turn and keep straight. You are on the King's Highway-Heaven bound. Keep going for 3 miles, one for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Ghost. Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. From there ,make a right turn on Gospel Lane. Keep straight and then make another right on Prayer Blvd. As you go on your way, yield not to the traffic on Temptation Ave. Also, avoid Sin street because it is a dead end. Pass up Envy Drive and Hate Ave. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane, Persecution Blvd. and Trials and Temptation Ave. But that's all right because Victory Blvd. is straight ahead !!! Praise God.

WHY DO WE WEEP?

Why do we weep and worry so
When things go wrong and troubles grow
Have we no faith to just believe
When sorrows cause our hearts to grieve?
We may not understand it all
When disappointments come to call,
But God has promised to be there
If we but call His name in prayer.
We know that He is on our side
For in our hearts He shall abide
Until the rivers cease to flow
And autumn winds refuse to blow.
For God is great; His word is true,
And there is nothing He can't do...
So rest assured that God is near
And wipe away that silver tear.
