THE FRUIT OF TEMPERANCE:

Well Praise God, I feel a lot better talking to my own Church People

again, even if you haven’t called me or come to visit with me. But I have the

Fruit of Temperance, and that is what we are going to talk about

tonight. There are 9 different Fruit’s of the Spirit. It is the 9^th one and

about the hardest one to get. What is Temperance? It is the power of

self-control. 2^nd.Peter 1:6,says and to knowledge temperance: and to

temperance patience: and to patience godliness; 1 Corinthians 9:25, And every

man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all thing’s. Now they that

do it to obtain a corruptible crown ;but we an incorruptible. Temperance is a

requirement for church offices. I know some of you are going to be mad at me

for saying this, but I have to obey God. I have seen in this church people go

to the Altar on one Sunday and the next Sunday they would say God filled

them with the Holy Ghost and gave them the gift of Healings. I am here to

tell you tonight that if you don’t have any Fruit you don’t have any

gift’s. A person does not have the power of self control and have complete

abstinence-not playing games with sex and drugs. And control over the whole

man: desires, passion, and appetites. they don’t have the gift of healing and

have no right laying hands on any body. they are a “ NOVICE “
